Travel by train from Tokyo to the beautiful coastal town of Kamakura, less than one hour south of Tokyo. Here you will visit the famous Great Buddha, a bronze image measuring 11.4 meters in height at Kotokuin Temple.

Gifts of Nature

Theres a poem in every flower,
a sonnet in every tree,
a tale in every lifetime
its just for you to see...

theres a lyric in every brook
as it rushes over rocks,
theres an ode in every nuance,
as loves wonder unlocks,

theres rhythm in every sound,
every beating of a heart,
theres poetry in every union
and every couple who are apart

and just as there is wonder
in every new life created
there is sadness and regret,
for the unsaid and unfeted

just listen for the music
that your ears cannot hear,
just strain yourself for the melody
thats so far and yet so near

the wonder of the creator,
the magic of the divine
is there to feel, for all of us,
to soon be yours and mine

- Wat Phra Tat Lampang Luang is actually several kilometers outside the city of Lampang. The temple itself is elevated and high wall is built around it. The large wooden viharn was built in 1476 and stands next to a magnificent chedi.

- Pai Maehongson, Pai is located halfway between Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son.So beautiful mountain scenery with traditional northern culture.

......miss you ........

As the sun sets in the evening, my heart begins to sink,
The dusk at the edge of the sky pierces my heart,
He's still on my mind, haven't seen him in a while,
I'm miss you every time I'm alone,

Haven't heard from you since the day we parted,
Somebody took my place? Is she the right one?
Am I with you even in your dreams? Or is everything forgotten?
Do you miss me when you are alone?

Since the day you left, my life seems to change,
Still empty...still sad....I'm only left with loneliness,
Still missing the old days, our days,
If today's empty or lonley, I'll be missing you,
I miss you everytime I'm alone...

The Story of Khun Chang Khun Phan
Written by Richard Barrow
The famous Thai epic "Khun Chang Khun Phan" has been around for hundreds of years. No-one knows for certain when it was first written. However, the events depicted in this classic story are believed to have taken place around 1500. The story was passed from generation to generation by word of mouth. It wasn't until the 19th Century that King Rama II, King Rama III and other prestigious poets of the time, decided to collect all accounts of this story and then write a definitive version.

The following synopsis of the story is illustrated with photographs ...

The fisherman's boat

An American businessman was standing at the pier of a small coastal Mexican village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked. Inside the small boat were several large yellowfin tuna. The American complimented the Mexican on the quality of his fish.
“How long it took you to catch them?” The American asked.

“Only a little while.” The Mexican replied.

“Why don’t you stay out longer and catch more fish?” The American then asked.

“I have enough to support my family’s immediate needs.” The Mexican said.

“But,” The American then asked, “What do you do with the rest of your time?”

The Mexican fisherman said, “I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take a siesta with my wife, Maria, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my amigos, I have a full and busy life, senor.”

The American scoffed, “I am a Harvard MBA and could help you. You should spend more time fishing and with the proceeds you buy a bigger boat, ...

Wat Intharavihara ( Wat In )

Wat Intharavihara ( Wat In ) is located on Visut Kasat Road, near Bang Khun Phrom Intersection opposite the Bank of Thailand . The temple was built before the founding of the capital and was originally called Wat Bang Khun Phrom Nok. It was renovated and renamed Wat Intharam when King Rama I provided land in Bang khun Phrom Sub-district for the settlement of prisoners of war from Vientiane. Chao In, an uncle of Chao Noi Khiew Khom, one of the King's chief wives, renovated the temple and invited Chao Khun Phra Aranyik, a monk who had also come from Vientiane, to preside as an abbot. Chao Inthawong , the son ofSomdej Phra Boworn Rajchao Mahasakdipholasep, was responsible for a second

Reaching for a love that seem so far...

An empty street
An empty house
A hole inside my heart
I'm all alone and the rooms are getting smaller

I wonder how, I wonder why
I wonder where they are
The days we had, the songs we sang together

And oh my love
I'm holding on forever
Reaching for a love that seem so far

So I say a little prayer
And hope my dreams will take me there
Where the skies are blue
To see you once again, my love
Overseas from coast to coast
To find the place I love the most
Where the fields are green
To see you once again, my love

I try to read
I go to work
I'm laughing with my friends
But I can't stop to keep myself from thinking

I wonder how, I wonder why
I wonder where they are
The days we had, the songs we sang together
And oh my love
I'm holding on forever
Reaching for a love that seem so far

To hold you in my arms
To promise you my love
To tell you from the heart
You're all I'm thinking of

I'm reaching for a love seem so far...

"My love"....my favorite son...

He decided to ask his shrink what to do. The shrink said that since Christmas was coming up that he should ask Johnny what he wanted Santa to bring him. If he cussed he should leave a pile of dog shit in place of the gift. Two days before Christmas Johnny's dad asked Johnny what he wanted. Johnny said, "I want a god damn teddy bear laying right fucking here beside me when I wake-up Christmas morning. Then when I go downstairs I want to see a motherfuckin' train going around the god damn tree, and when I go outside I want to see a red-assed fuckin' bike leaning up against the damn garage!"</FONT></FONT></P>
